3M™ Trizact™ Cloth Belt 307EA abrasive belt uses proprietary microreplication technology where micron-graded aluminium oxide particles are formed into tiny pyramids of abrasive mineral and then coated on a rayon backing. As these pyramids wear, fresh, sharp mineral is continually exposed to produce a consistent cut and a predictable, fine finish.

Use 3M™ Trizact™ Cloth Belt 307EA for consistent fine finishes on hard metals such as carbon and stainless steel. The 307EA belts feature 3M microreplication technology, where micron graded aluminium oxide particles are coated onto a rayon backing. They provide a consistent cut and predictable fine finish. These belts also feature a grinding aid to help prevent heat build-up, warping and discolouration and the durable cloth backing help provide control, conformability and effective medium-pressure grinding. The resin bonded abrasive provides greater heat resistance and helps to prevent delamination. The three-dimensional pyramid structures of abrasive are uniformly distributed over the entire surface ensuring consistent performance. These ‘pyramids’ contain layers of mineral, and they begin to break down after repeated use, continually exposing the fresh mineral. The cycle of mineral renewal sustains the abrasive’s sharpness.
The belt uses a film media splice – a strong secure bond that joins the belt ends and is made of a thin film-joining media that minimises chatter marks, to keep the belt running smoothly and offer consistent finishing results. Trizact abrasives produce a finer finish, achieve faster results and last up to five times longer than conventional abrasive products. Unlike conventional abrasives, these belts start sharp and stay sharp – for more predictable finishes and consistently better quality.
