3M™ Scotch-Weld™ Epoxy Adhesive DP490 is a black, thixotropic, gap filling two component epoxy adhesive with particularly good application characteristics. It is designed for use where ultimate toughness and high strength are required. This adhesive offers high resistance to impact and maintains excellent stability under both static and dynamic loads. It also delivers strong performance over time, with very good strength and aging characteristics. The thixotropic formulation allows for easy application to vertical surfaces without sagging. It provides notable advantages in the construction of composite assemblies. In addition, the product offers excellent resistance to heat and environmental conditions.
2-part epoxy high-performance EPX adhesive system that suits bonding vertically due to non-sag properties. Shock resistant, good ageing properties & high-temperature resistance.
