  • Springy fibres conform to irregular surfaces with uniform results
  • Load resistant open web construction provides extended use
  • Superior durability and cut for a long lasting disc
  • Discs can be used individually or stacked on a straight shaft tool or bench motor for a broader cleaning surface

The Scotch-Brite HS Blend and Finish Disc aggressively tackles weld burns and refinement, deburring and rust removal – leaving a consistent satin finish on the workpiece. Among Scotch-Brite surface conditioning discs, HS material features the toughest, most aggressive web.

Scotch-Brite HS Blend and Finish Disc aggressively tackles weld burns, weld refinement, deburring and rust removal – leaving a consistent satin finish on the workpiece. The high-strength open web discs combine conformability with superior durability and cut – so you get the job done faster and with a great finish. If you’re using wire wheels or scrapers, but dislike their inability to get into tight spots, replace them with these discs. Scotch-Brite conformability allows you to access hard to reach areas. These long-lasting, highly efficient discs are also load-resistant to stand up to prolonged use and can significantly lower your abrasive costs while increasing productivity. These discs won’t sacrifice part geometry and can be used with a bench motor, disc sander or die grinder to eliminate the need for manual scraping. When the work surface requires broader coverage to reach intricate areas with the outer diameter of the disc, multiple discs can be stacked on a straight shaft tool or bench motor.

They feature aluminium oxide mineral. This mineral makes a tough, durable abrasive that self-fractures to expose fresh cutting edges, whereas traditional natural abrasives dull more quickly. Due to its fast cut-rate, hardness and strength, it is widely used in grinding, sanding and finishing applications. Aluminium oxide is suitable for a wide variety of materials in both woodworking and metalworking, including ferrous alloys. Scotch-Brite abrasives are unique surface conditioning products with abrasives incorporated into a non-woven fibre matrix. Combining abrasives and non-woven material creates an abrasive system that delivers consistent results for the life of the product. The open-web material runs cool and is load resistant, which keeps the abrasive minerals cutting at high performance by limiting clogging of the fibres.
